Science for Home Educators

Membership is open to Home Educating families in New Zealand. Discretional
memberships may be granted to non home educating families (please email us).

The membership fee is $5 per year. An additional annual bond of $35 applies. This
bond is refundable at the end of the membership period provided kits have been
returned complete and undamaged.

The bond may be used to recover any loss or damage to kits hired out to the
member.

The membership period is one year (4 school terms - 8 hire periods) and can start
at any time. Membership can be renewed annually by paying the annual
membership fee plus bond.

Membership may be terminated by us if members do not follow the rules or do not
return the hire kits on time.

We reserve the right to approve or decline applications without having to give a
reason.

You can withdraw your Membership at any time during the year. The bond will be
refunded as long as all hire kits have been returned complete and undamaged.

To apply for Membership email us with your name, address and contact details
(both landline and mobile phone). You will be asked to provide the following
evidence:
Personal ID (eg copy of Driver Licence or Passport)
Address ID (eg copy of recent power bill or phone bill)
Copy of your Exemption Certificate

Once you are a member and have paid your membership fees you can book our
hire kits.
