Science for Home Educators

Only members can hire kits (see Membership section to find out how to join up).

Kits are hired out for a full school term at a time (9-10 weeks).

Members can only hire one kit at a time.

A hire charge is payable for each kit, see the "science hire kits" section for details.

Bookings will be secured once the hire charge has been paid, subject to
availability.

Members must check the contents of a kit when it arrives and notify us within 2
days of any loss or damage.

Members must check the contents of a kit at the end of the hire period and notify
us within 2 days of any loss or damage so we can replace them for the next hirer.

The hirer is responsible for the cost of sending the hire kit back.

If a kit is damaged or parts are missing, the bond may be used to replace lost
and/or damaged parts. The bond needs to be made up to $35 before another kit
can be hired.

If a kit is not returned the full replacement value will be billed out to the hirer.
